MEET THE PLANNER

Hello, brides and grooms! I'm so thrilled that you want to know more about Wonderful Day Weddings. I am Marissa Partridge, Certified Wedding Coordinator and owner of Wonderful Day Weddings.

As a professional wedding coordinator, I love the challenge of helping couples plan their dream wedding through creating an event design, securing excellent vendors, executing the details and managing the budget. I've learned that every event can be spectacular and each couple deserves to have a wonderful day even if they don't have unlimited resources!

Wedding and event planning is my passion and I have several years of special events industry experience. I started as a special event planner in 2001 working in the non-profit sector then continued to develop my skills in corporate event planning before transitioning into the wedding industry. I've planned a variety of weddings, both grand and intimate affairs. Wonderful Day Weddings has been a leader in the wedding industry for four years and we continue to grow and develop with each passing year.

The many wonderful events that I've personally planned include: black-tie galas, golf tournaments, anniversary luncheons, fundraisers, holiday parties, appreciation dinners, baby showers and, of course, weddings! In addition to my work experience, I graduated from Augsburg College with a B.A. in Business Marketing. Wonderful Day Weddings is also a member of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, a resource for wedding professionals.

In addition to wedding planning work, I also provide my event planning expertise as a volunteer. For the past 4 years, I've served on the St. Michael Daze & Knights Festival committee helping to plan and execute our city-wide event. It has been a great experience for me as an event professional. I am also blessed to be married to my best friend and we have two fantastic children.
